Garbage Collection

Garbage Service

The City of Clifton contracts with a third party for garbage pickup in the City. Questions about services should be directed to City Hall.

Pick Up Time
Garbage collection schedule is as follows:

• Residential trash pickup Tuesdays and Fridays please have your garbage curb-side by 7:00 am

• City "Brush days" - open for resident-hauled brush, branches, leaves, grass cuttings in the morning, every second Saturday of each month. Contact the City Code Enforcement officer for contractors available for hauling.

• "Trash day" held in Spring & Fall for refuse too bulky for normal residential pickup. The date will be published in the Clifton Record and posted on the City Hall events sign.

The city does not operate a recycling program.
