Planning and Zoning
The Planning & Zoning Commission is committed to maintaining a high quality sustainable community for Clifton citizens and businesses. The Commission is appointed by the City Council and makes recommendations to the Council on ordinances affecting many aspects of the city.
The P&Z usually meets in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 7 PM on the third Tuesday of every month. This is the place to bring questions about Code Enforcement actions, and to request variances in existing city ordinances.

In November 2006, consultant Tim F. Glendenning & Associates delivered a comprehensive planning document "City of Clifton Community Development Plan".
