The smell of fall is in the air in Clifton, Texas. On Saturday, October 16th, Clifton will host FallFest presented by Clifton Main Street and many local sponsors to bring in the season with family fun, food, entertainment and much more. All are invited to come, relax and enjoy Clifton at its best.

FallFest will start with the Main Street Program hosting "Market on Main Street" from
10am-10pm, including arts and craft booths, shopping, entertainment, a video gaming room, hosted by Video's Tonight and Rountree Appliance, plus loads of fun for the kids at the Clifton Optimist's KIDZ ZONE, where bouncing, sliding, jumping and laughing are all that counts! See Bosque County Art Club's beautiful Art Show and Sale display at the Bosque Arts Center. Don't forget to vote your People's Choice Award" selection for best picture. For more information on the Show and Sale, find the Art Club's booth day of event in downtown Clifton.

Don't forget the car show this year! There is nothing that appeals more to the senses - sound, sight, smell, and feel than a vintage car. People want nostalgia, and nothing provides it better than old cars! Registration is day of the festival at 8am. Class trophies, goody bags, T-shirts and dash plaques will be given. Come "cruise" through the wide variety of vintage cars on display or enter your car in the 8th Annual "Cruisin Main Street" FallFest Car Show.

Another happening you wouldn't want to miss is the Lutheran Sunset Ministries 18th Annual nationally recognized quilt auction. The viewing of over 100 quilts will begin at 10:30am at the National Guard Armory in Clifton's CIty Park, with the auction beginning at noon. This is an experience for people of all ages!

Then, to end a delightful day, join Red Caboose winery in the entertainment tent downtown for "Wine & Music on Main", with the DW Blues Band playing into the evening.
